If you’re going into a Shipyard period you’re most likely going to experience another side of Yachting. Your schedule will change, the boat won’t be traveling and you might be working with only a skeleton Crew.
While this might be a nice welcome from many months of being on the boat with guests, it also can be challenging for some Crew.

If you’re cooking for yourself, now is the chance to dig deeper into healthy meals. Find a few new recipes each week that you can try out.
Even if you’re not cooking for yourself, now is a great time to pick healthier meals and plan your health goals.
Step up your fitness game with more consistency and better quality workouts. Make a plan for yourself and stick to it even when it’s difficult. Now is the time to find classes at the gym or Yoga studios that you normally can’t commit to.
Not only will you look better, you’ll feel better overall with mood boosting chemicals running throughout your body all day.
Avoid the temptation of sitting around and watching tv or being on the internet all day in your cabin. Start a project, hobby or study something you enjoy.
Plan Crew events and get togethers regularly. This could be weekly dinners together and fun events like bowling, go karting and Crew challenges.
This might be the best opportunity of the year to travel and tick some of your favorite places off your bucket list.
